The assignment today was to design a poster for the plot “mermaid rebuilds the Brooklyn Bridge out of paradoxes”. This to me means that you need to create a brooklyn bridge photo out of contradictions. I was inspired by the reflection pools I saw in my travels abroad, you are unable to tell from certain angles which is real and which is not. So I had the thought that if a mermaid was rebuilding the bridge she would make it underwater. The top photo is actually the on land photo, meaning she built it upside down so that it would be right side up in her world. I used Inkscape to edit this photo and I got the photo from here. This was kind of challenging because I was not 100% sure what to do but I eventually got to what you see above.
